I use this for wooden flags and the blue is perfect for the blue in the US flag.

I think I should have diluted it because unless your close it looks like paint but I really love how vibrant it was and worked great for my project!

After watching some DIY videos, and seeing some of the results of the cabinetry others had done, I thought to myself, "I could do that!" Apparently, there's a learning curve, and I'm just not hitting it.I chose a pantry door to try it on, because I'm getting rid of it anyway, and followed the instructions to the letter. At first, I tried the 50/50 dilution, but found the brush marks were VERY noticeable, so then I tried it straight full-strength, and while it did go on smoother, there were still brush marks and bubbles. It's super thin, and since I'm putting it on something that is white to start, it's a lot lighter in color once applied.It also dried matte and while I could go over it again, this stuff is so expensive that even if it were to work out, between having to use a sealant and the multiple coats, I might as well just replace the cabinets altogether due to the cost.So, I've decided to abandon this project, and I'll try experimenting with oil-based paint on the top pantry door, next.

As a first time user of Unicorn Spit, and with this table top being my very first ever DIY-fix-this-thing-found-in-a-dumpster project, I was needlessly intimidated by the beauty, versatility and ease of use of this product and skeptical of the same. However, as it turns out, my worries we’re all for naught and I am pleased with the outcome of my very first ever Unicorn Spit project and I would definitely recommend Unicorn Spit to any and everyone who is even mildly interested in doing a DIY/craft project of any kind using this product.

Easy to use and no foul odor, beautiful colors, I used it to make the blue and red on an American Flag that I made out of individual Wood slats, great product!

I love Unicorn Spit! It colors the wood, but allows the grain to show thru, and is consistent. Works 100% better than colored stains you find at your local home improvement stores.

This blue is one of the more popular Unicorn spit colors. Unicorn Spit is an all-natural, non-toxic, water based, vibrantly colored medium with a jasmine scent. It is safe to use indoors, on many surfaces and for any age or ability. Unicorn SPiT is a highly concentrated gel that can be diluted up to 70% with water for use as a stain on woods and porous surfaces or full strength as a paint or glaze. Due to its unique qualities, it stays vibrant and strong even when diluted. It can be used on wood, canvas, metals, plastic, fabric, glass, laminate and many other surfaces. Please make sure to always seal your initial work with an oil based sealer to protect Unicorn SPiT from reactivating (becoming wet again and smearing/bleeding). It is certified non toxic. I am completely new to unicorn spit. That being said, I'm not new to vibrant jewel colors and painting. Unicorn Spit is so darn easy to use and it can be done on most anything.It's malleable so if you're not happy with your current results, keep going. I haven't mastered the epoxy resin glaze but I love the affect of oil based poly. High gloss for me.
