We bought this for a Ruth Bader Ginsburg costume for my daughter's History fair. It works perfectly. It is on the bigger size, so if you're questioning sizes I would size down.

Zipper works well. Robe looks great while wearing. I use it because I am a judge pro tempore (substitute judge). Although I am offered the use of a robe when I sit on the bench, I would rather have one that belongs to me alone.
