What are the advantages of UniTak3D linear guide rail?
Kindly Reminder:
- Installation screw size: M3×8mm.
- The guide rail may have a tolerance of ±1mm，but this does not affect normal use.
- The mark on the bearing surface is only the mark made by the factory, NOT a scratch.
- Normally each side is lack of 1 or 2 balls.The carriage block will get stuck easily if it is full of balls, the balls on each side need some room.
- Needed some light lubricant and to be worked for awhile to loosen up.The longer it is used, the smoother it runs.

A1: 300mm(12 holes); 350mm(14 holes); 400 mm(16 holes)

A3: Width: 12mm / Height:8mm
Q4:What are the advantages of upgrading with a linear rail?
A4: Upgrading the POM wheels with linear guide will highly improve print quality and accuracy and the MGN12H linear rail support bowden and direct drive extrusion.
Q5:It doesn't move smoothly,what should I do?
A5:Please spray the block and rail with the Super Lube 3111 and wipe them down with a clean cloth. Then reassemble the block onto the rail. Swipe the block back and forth and it should be a smooth as can be.

I was pretty excited to receive the linear rail today. However, after opening the package, the sliding action is far from smooth. At certain spots on the rail it feels like it is binding pretty hardcore. I'm sure it will self clearance after repeated use. But, it's supposed to be precision. I'm still going to add some grease and give it a try. If it gets better, I will update my review.

Typical of second-tier linear rails. Mine needed to be disassembled and cleaned before it would move smoothly. There were no missing balls as is often the case. A teardown, isopropyl alcohol wash, and lubricating with the recommended grease yielded a smoothly running rail. Glad I got it.

Upgraded by core XY 3D printer to linear rails. All ran super smoothly across the length with no effort. No factory crap to remove and no added oil required. Rails were extremely straight and the added bumpers were a nice addition. Packaging was above standard and the black finishes were a great, classy touch. If you're looking for #12 linear rails, these are the ones.

Absolutely perfect, works straight out of the box, didn't have to clean or lubricate it. It's very smooth and solid, no play in a bearing. Definitely will buy another one for my 3d printer.

This rail looks and works great right out of the box. It is super smooth and isn't covered by dirty grease requiring extensive cleaning like many other non-Iwinn rails available.I was planning on changing out the bearings once I got it to high quality bearings, but I don't think I need to. I installed this on one of my ender clone 3d printers on the x axis to replace the v slot gantry and it's so much more reliable now. I'll get more of these to do the y and z axis next. Highly recommended!

I ordered two of these just because it was black and one came in regular steel with the rubber end stops and the other came with out rubber end stops but it's black.
