Perfect for my tuning forks...part of me wishes it was slightly longer for specific fork-hitting,, but not a dealbreaker. For the price, this is great!

I bought this to use for a softer sound for my chime in the classroom than the plastic mallet that came with my chime. When I use it, there is hardly any sound at all (unless I hit it with the wooden stick part, ha ha). I'm disappointed. Good thing it was so cheap.

This is a simple, small rubber mallet that functions well. It's not the hardest so it won't produce a lot of sound. Mine had a strange bump on the top so it looks like a pear. Smelled really strongly of latex.

Very nice handle, sturdy rubber ball on the end, the problem is that it stinks. I don't know if I'll be using this very much unless I can figure out how to get the rubber smell gone or not so strong. I hoped to use this as a tuning fork striker, but it's too stinky, so I ordered a puck. Hopefully the hockey puck won't stink so badly.

Exactly what I needed for my tuning forks. I am pleased with the look and feel of this striker. It is a perfect size and shape to tuck away with the forks. I’ve used it a little over a couple weeks and think it is performing well and seems like it will last a good while.
