Took them apart and sprayed them with quick dip to water proof them. They work great to control 80watt fans.

I'm giving this 3 stars because I'm giving them the benefit of the doubt. I'm assuming it was my incompetence rather than their faulty product. It is not a simple switch that just adds a variable resistance to the power supply. You will need access to both the positive and negative battery terminals, and you will need to know the positive wire on your fan motor. I followed the directions and when it didn't work, tried other wiring schemes, but nothing worked for me. I'm retuning it and buying a linear variable rheostat resistor.
