The recovery tank looks nice out of the box, but the mounting brackets are no good. One is correct and the other is bent incorrectly. Yes, it was cheaper than name brands.

Couldn’t be happier. The black paint is pretty delicate but other than that it functions perfectly!!! No complaints. I would buy it again.

I was looking to add an overflow can to my 1967 Mustang but wanted to keep the engine bay looking relatively original. This worked perfectly and fit on the driver's side of the radiator. Easy to mount and connect to my radiator, and because it's black it almost disappears over there. Keeps coolant from being sprayed out into the street, and keeps my engine bay looking stock-ish.

Very nice tank for the money. Mounted on my rad support (69 K10 Chevy) between grill and radiator. Only small issue was the kit came with 2 different size rivets. Needs 4 to install. Mounting bracket holes are all same size but 2 rivets are smaller than the other two so you have to use different drill bits. Also, the tank inlet and out let tubes are about half as big around as the radiator overflow outlet so your overflow hose is really lose on the tank and it is a lot for the clamps to have to squeeze together. 5/16 was the smallest I could get around the rad overflow tube. Otherwise a really nice tank for the money

Looks good. Small enough to sit to the side and blend into the engine bay. It would be nice if the in & out tubes were larger.

External overflow tank for older vehicles. Used this on a older classic car, the 2 pipes that come out of the bottom are not sized to SAE american standards, so we had a difficult time trying to get the overflow hose to stop leaking coolant. Finally ended up using a compression fitting to tighten down on the pipe and add normal sized steel tubing with a flare on the other end to stop the leaks. If it were built with a flare, or come with the needed fittings, or was sized to SAE standards, would be a better product. Price point is considered high given the issues we had.
