Fits my 2011 Ford Escape. Make sure yours has the metal ring like mine does.

Its made well and did the job it was made to do. I should have ordered it when I bought the fuel pump and the job could have been done sooner. Just spend the money and make life easier on yourself.

Work perfect 2013 Chevy cube van very solid tool.Worked great on a truck from the Northeast where salt is used. I did have to drill some holes (not deep just to the old ring thickness) to loosen up the old ring and had to use PB blaster. I needed a torque wrench to get the old ring off. This tool held up great.

I have worked on cars my entire life and have changed several fuel pumps and the lock ring has always been a pain to remove and install. This tool is Amazing and literally cut the time in half as it unscrewed with ease and install was easy as well. I did use a cheater pipe with a 1/2” drive ratchet but still it was simple and I won’t do another pump without this tool. Highly recommended

I saw a video about using a screw driver and hammer to remove the retaining ring on my 2010 Cadillac DTS fuel pump, I was a little skeptical of this method and decided to use the "right tool for the right job" Boy was I right! Without this tool, I don't think I would have been able to complete the job. It took a 1/2 ratchet, and a 18 inch pipe extension on the ratchet handle to get the retaining ring to move. And when it did, it popped like I had broke it. It took that much force to get it off. No way I could have done it with a screw driver and hammer. Also, installing the ring is much easier because you can apply more equal force to engage the ring. I had to use the ratchet extension to install the ring too, and it popped into place with the same jarring bang, but it was done, and done right. Hope I never have to use this tool again, but it was well worth the money in saved aggravation with this project.

Worked great and could have not got the ring off without this tool. The price was $20 cheeper than Auto Zone and the best price on Amazon. Probably will never need it again but worth the money.

saved me so much time! definitely a one time use only tool but hey, when i need it again i have it! wish it had four points of contact other than two. You can't get a ton of leverage on, but still does the job faster than a screwdriver and hammer.
