The expanding hardware fits in a std7/8 bar but the lip on mirror mount did not. Also, the screws are weak and deform when you tighten with an allen key.So after a month or two of riding, one just fell right off while I was riding.

These mirrors look great on my bike! I'm a bigger guy so i really wanted some bar end mirrors to get around my beautiful figure. I wish they were a little more snug getting closer to the handle bars and felt a little more secure when installed. I've only been out for a couple rides with them but so far so good. Not to much rattle and shake when riding.

I wanted these to work SO BADLY. But nope. I have the model where the tightening nut expands an aluminum sleeve(s) with slots in them to make them snug. That's the design, anyway. These are supposedly for 7/8" handlebars, which mine are (and a pretty common design, too), but the fitment just doesn't work.Problem 1: No instructions. Strike 1.Problem 2: Tightening nut is not keyed in any way, so it's free to rotate as you're trying to tighten the mounting post; in other words, at some point it just revolves and doesn't tighten at all. Strike 2.Problem 3: Even while tightening it outside of the handlebar (which is pointless, I get it, but I wanted to see if I could get it to work), the expanding sleeves would not expand far enough to make a snug fit in the handlebar. It still had wiggle room, after I tightened it as much as I could. Strike 3. I give up.Bonus problem: There are three different hex screws used for installation (6mm & 5mm) and adjustment (some smaller mm), so of course there are three separate hex wrenches you must use. No commonality in screwhead size, thanks a bunch. Not happy. Returning this item.

The diameter of the aluminum expansion mechanism is 14.95mm. They are barely adequate for 3/4 inch handlebars. Unusable for 7/8 inch handlebars. They fall out. I made new expansion slugs on my lathe with a diameter of 18mm. This solved the problem. Aside from the mount being improperly made, these mirrors are fantastic. Very little vibration (after the fix) and a clear image are what I like about them. Plus, they look great.

Buy the black#1, the offset clamp varient. The expanding kind only expand at the very end leaving the barend kinda wiggly. The Black#1 cinch up nicely and look very good.

I have a 2017 FZ07, if you’re installing it, make sure you put some electrical tape so that it catches abs becomes sturdy, it’s not sturdy until you do that. For the brake left side, there’s no issues, but when you’re installing on the throttle side, make sure you leave a gap and do not twist the actual bar end to go in, if you do, your throttle tube will get caught and won’t rebound properly. For the price, it’s worth it, search up on YouTube before install.

Installed on a Ariel D-class, witch has 7/8" handel bars, ( so it should fit easy ) The install took about 2 hours because I had to make better expansion assembly's to grab the inside of the handlebars. The hardware that is included is aluminum and it slips/mushrooms so that it will not grab inside and tighten, but pushes the ends out of the bars. Once I figured this out I made ones out of 1/2 copper pipe and the ends would internally seat and I could tighten the ends down/draw themselves in tight. They are nice mirrors and super light weight for the price, but cheap hardware kills the install. If it had steel expansion bits like a concrete anchor they would be great.

I prefer these over the stock mirrors. The positives is it gets the stock mirrors out of your way so you can lean forward on the tank while on the freeway and have more vision. Plus I do think they make the bike look more aggressive. The cons is they are a pain to install and dropping the bike knocks them out of place but that's a given with bar ends mirrors. You have to make sure they catch in the handlebar, then secure the mirror base, and finally adjust the mirror to achieve the proper angle. Many times the bar ends would spin or get loose as you tried to adjust one of the three. Once you have them set though they seem solid and as long as you don't death grip you don't feel much vibration. If you drop the bike they can come loose as the force will reset either the mirror, the base, or the bar end.

Yes they are hard to see out of because they are small but they look fantastic. Great quality. If you can't figure out how to install them ask your friend with a brain. Not a complicated piece of equipment.

I installed these mirrors on my Kawi Vulcan S after trying out another style that did not function as advertised. Because of that, I had my concerns that these mirrors would vibrate or come loose. I took my time during the installations and tried a couple of methods. First, I rolled some masking tape over the tightening nut to make for a more snug mating surface. That didn't work since the tape would make the nut slide inside of the handlebars no matter how much I tightened. I then tried it without and they held much better. I also added red loctite to all the nuts and mating surfaces and let it cure for 24 hours before riding. So far they are solid and the vibrations don't show on the reflection. The reflection is as expected due to their size. The convex functions gives you a decent field of view. Don't expect to apply makeup or pluck your eyebrows with it though.I would have given the product 5 stars if they would have engineered it with nylon locking threads. That would have made them perfect.
