Ceiling anchors are worthless and we had to buy new ones. Once it is attached to the ceiling, it works.

This product comes with a set of four expansion screws, which are meant to be ideal for ceiling mounts. The problem is, the threads on my screws were jacked so that the nuts slipped when trying to tighten them completely. This added even more jank to my already janky projector mount setup (see picture to see what I mean). Due to the faulty screws, the mount leans forward so adjusting the projector image to a pull-down screen proved difficult.So while the mount itself was easy to put together, the mount does not attach well to the ceiling, so I would highly recommend getting your own expansion screws to go with this. For $50 when I bought this, it was somewhat of a disappointment.
