  • This adapter can be used with most phone cases, but the case MUST be flat so it will fit in the holder correctly. Any grips, stands, rings, or raised surfaces on the case will impede the placement of the phone. All folio-style phone cases must be removed.

How to Use

Step 1

Open the eyepiece clamp by loosening the top knob until the opening size just right holds the eyepiece. (no need to tighten it)

Step 2

Place eyepiece clamp over the eyepiece. NOTE: For phone with multiple camera lenses, only primary camera lens works. When you cover the lens with your finger, you can't see anything. That is the primary camera lens.

Step 3

Put phone into phone clamp. Loosen the bottom knob. Adjust the positioning of eyepiece clamp and phone so that algin phone primary camera to the virtual center of eyepiece zone.

Step 4

Launch camera app on your phone. If the view is not good, make small adjustment again. Once get the perfect view, carefully tighten the knobs. NOTE: Keep the adapter vertical to the eyepiece body.

This did not fit my Bushnell spotting scope. Its a bit too small and I dont see it holding up for all the plastic. Look elsewhere.

This fits on one ocular of my stereoscope. With a little fiddling, it's not too hard to line up the phone on the optical axis. Simple and it works.
