FAQ

Can I use CozyShade with forward facing car seats?

Yes! CozyShade works with all types of car seats whether it is rear-facing or forward-facing. CozyShade is versatile, and you can try different installation methods to find what works best for you and your little one!

FAQ

Is CozyShade long for your car?

You can shorten the length of the canopy by attaching the Velcro on the headrest to the Velcro on the canopy body (refer to the installation guide).

Alternatively, move the front seat forward (towards the front away from the car seat) until CozyShade fits comfortably.

FAQ

Is CozyShade a little short?

CozyShade is designed to sufficiently reach from the front seat to the back seat with a child car seat installed in between. If CozyShade feels to tight, move the front seat towards the child car seat until it comfortably fits in the space.

Alternatively, you can install CozyShade by connecting the headrest straps around the headrest rods (refer to the installation guide). You can adjust the length of the straps as needed.

FAQ

Does CozyShade sit too close to the child's head?

You can adjust the height of CozyShade to allow more headroom for your child by either;

1) tightening the ties that are tied to your vehicle's grab handle, or

2) adjusting the headrest(s). The headrests of most cars can be adjusted by moving them up and down while pressing the 'A' button as shown below.

Love the shade ot gives my daughter. She likes her little tent. Unfortunately it makes a HUGE! blind spot for me.

This car seat shade installs over 2 headrests, with the ability to lift up the 2 sides with velcro attachments. The installation is a little tight for our minivan since the seats are a good distance apart. The 2 shades will stay on without being clipped beneath. The middle can be tied to a grab handle, though it's unnecessary.I have a slightly bigger mirror that's in a specific position to be seen from the driver's seat, and it's hard to place the shade over the mirror and headrest, but I also can't see my baby when the shade is installed.Might be acceptable for older kids, but doesn't quite work for my 1 year old. I don't see the value compared to sunshades that install directly on windows. This might work better as just a car seat cover when we're out and about. It comes with fairly clear instructions, as well as a few troubleshooting tips to help. It also contains a QR code that links to an installation video.

This car seat canopy cover will be good for when we go on long road trips. For short trips I will probably continue using my car seat cover that stretches over the car seat and is also a nursing cover. With this I gave a four star review just because it seems very long to have to fit over two seat headrests and also I can't see my two month old in the car seat with this and I really like to be able to and have a baby mirror above the car seat to be able to do so. It will be nice for when we want the moon roof open and it also could be used for toddlers. My three year old will think it's so fun to be under there and read for road trips. It is really easy to set up. You just put it over two seat headrests then it could be buckled around the seat headrest and tied up onto the handle above the seat. I have a Subaru Ascent and it fits perfectly over the seat headrests.

We used this on a road trip to help my daughter sleep. I would like the sides to come all the way down to help block the light, but the product works as intended

Forget those shades that stick on the windows and only allow shade from one direction. This makes the carrier a cozy, shaded, breathable tent. Very adjustable and easy to install with lots of options of how you rig it up. Makes the back seat into almost a little fort my baby.

I live in Florida and I do not have tinted windows in my car. This looks ridiculous, but it works. I’m glad I bought it!

I looked high and low for ways to block the sun getting in the eyes of my rear-facing newborn and had no luck with good sun shades that actually stuck or worked on the windows/back windshield. This is GREAT for blocking out direct light from the back windshield, but the side flaps aren’t long enough to block the light from the windows so you either need sun shades on the side windows or something blocking the sides on the car seat like a blanket. If the flaps were longer this would be perfect! You also can’t use a backseat mirror for your infant either so keep that in mind. I use a baby camera under this, which works perfectly fine

My 16 months old son has glaucoma and light sensitive eyes. This is perfect for blocking him from the sun since I don’t have tinted windows. It does add an extra blind spot sometimes, so I be sure to take it down when he’s not in the car.

The shades in my Pacifica do not protect my babies from sun glares so I looked for a solution and found this amazing creation! It’s perfect & adjustable! It fits between the wide space between the passenger seat and my kids’ car seats. Worth every sent for my kids not to get constantly blinded by the sun!
