The only noticeable effect seemed to be that it was slightly more difficult to breathe. It did help me to know where my hose was in the middle of the night.I brought it to my Pulmonologist who had never seen one before and that i probably didn't need it. It did seem like a good idea.I only bought one to see how it worked. If you decide to try it, they're so inexpensive you shouldn't feel badly passing up volume discounts.

The 1pk Universal Fit in-Line Viral Filter is a must-have for CPAP and BiPAP users. This filter is designed to enhance your CPAP experience by providing exceptionally clean air throughout the night. It's simple to install—just attach the filter between the air outlet and your standard CPAP tubing. The filter is naturally hydrophobic, allowing maximum filtration with minimal loss of airflow. It's disposable and should be replaced every 4-6 weeks, depending on environmental conditions. This filter is especially beneficial for allergy sufferers, as it actively cleans the air, working in conjunction with the machine's built-in filters. Highly recommend this filter for its effectiveness and ease of use!

They fit my dreamstation 2 nicely. I had a cold one time and I even swabbed a little Vicks vaporub on ther inside of the filter and it seemed to help clear the breathing up a bit.

This seller gives you a lot of these filters for a good price. I change them about every 4 to 6 weeks. They do add an additional filter which is a good extra precaution. They are easy to put on a standard machine. The ones being sold are basically all the same but the price varies from seller to seller. They don’t interfere with the machines functionality. I highly recommend these.

Universal fit was fine. Seems like it’s made very well. Only issue is that the pressure coming out is reduced somewhat. If you use these you’ll have to have your sleep Dr adjust your pressure setting, unless your machine is one that you can increase yourself.
