- The fuel pressure gauge is measured with a tee fitting on the line between the fuel pressure regulator and the fuel injector.
- From the measured values, it is possible to judge the operation of fuel system components such as electric gasoline pumps and oil pressure regulators.
- Indicates if the fuel pump is defective or inconsistent in pressure flow.
Special test outlet connection
There is a 1/4" barbed brass fittings, and it can connect the pressure gauge directly to special test outlet on engine by the 1/4" cut small hose.

The brass fitting that screws on isn’t able to push the pin down in the test valve on my injector rail. I can’t get a reading at all.
