I bought this to use with the Lady Heather software used with my GPS disciplined Thunderbolt 10 MHz frequency standard. I placed it up near the ceiling on a cabinet in my shop, connected it to my Thunderbolt, fired up the "lady" and within a couple minutes I had captured 4 satellites and over the period of the next 15 minutes had 6 sats reporting and disciplining the oscillator. Software was reporting an oscillator accuracy of 1:10e-12 on my 10MHz output. Far better than when I had to operate with no antenna. Nice antenna. Well worth the small price. Although I have not tried it on a navigation-type GPS, I see no reason why it would not work just fine for that. With the long cable, it would probably be great for a motor home.
