All brass and solid construction. I moved all my other rods to the junk bin. Most people don’t need more calibers than this, just a supply of whatever solvent and oil/grease, patches and gun cleaning pointed q tips are nice.

Just tried out the Universal Gun Cleaning Kit and I'm genuinely impressed. This kit includes everything you need to keep your rifles in top shape: reinforced brass rods, brass jags, and brass slotted tips. Everything feels premium and durable, not like some of the cheaper kits I've used before.The brass rods are sturdy and don't bend or break easily, which is a huge plus when you're dealing with the tougher grime inside the barrel. The variety of jags and tips makes it suitable for different calibers, which is great for someone like me who owns multiple rifles.Using the kit made the whole cleaning process much smoother and more efficient. I noticed a significant improvement in my rifles' performance after a thorough cleaning. Definitely a great investment for any gun owner looking to maintain their firearms efficiently and effectively. Highly recommend!

The kit has everything you will ever need for gun cleaning, but a lot of the components feel like they were made as cheaply as possible, with the worst offender being the case. A lot of the larger pieces and a few of the rods tend to fall out of their slots when the case is closed. At this proce point, you get what you pay for I suppose.

Unfortunately the carrying case that is designed for this case, the plastic "slots" that are supposed to hold the cleaning rod pieces is defective. The rods don't snap in as they should. This is on the part of the case that becomes the top when it is closed.Thus when you close the case, the rods fall out of their slots and you either can't close the case, or it is just in disarray when you open the case.Yes, a piece of tape keeps this from happening, but should you have to?Something about gun cleaning kits that there is always something wrong. On the positive side, this cleaning kit actually has good solid cleaning rods pieces, and a wide assortment of brushes and such.Would have gotten 5 stars if not for the case issue.
