The ribbon and spools are attached and sealed in a plastic bag. The spool diameter is 2 inches and the ribbon is 1/2 inch wide. We provide an expanding center core to accommodate almost any spindle size. The pictures shown by FJA Products is what we are offering. I love the green color, and I will for sure be buying again! The universal spools worked in my Olivetti Lettera 33, but as I had metal spools I switched it over.

TL:DR - This organization does it right. If you need a ribbon you can't do better.I ordered this because I was restoring an old typewriter that asked me for green ink. Keeping these old machines satisfied can be tricky so I was elated to find this color combo available.Smith Coronas from the 40s can be tempermental, but the spool fits, rotates and reverses nicely. I respooled it after testing to the original metal spools (natch) and the results are the same. Wear gloves if you do this as these ribbons are generously inked which I didn't expect as it didn't produce the amorphous globs of type so common to oversaturated ribbons. They got it just right. Goldilocks would love this ribbon.Going forward I will only buy from these folks for all of my machines.Additional cherry in the Mai Tai: these ribbons are produced here in the US rather than some questionable sweat shop that beats their employees.It's not often that a purchase makes me this happy.
