I received these yesterday and to my surprise, discovered that there is no protective strip covering the adhesive on the flap and on the envelope itself. Gummed adhesive on both these sections of the envelope. I am not sure how well the envelope will seal, but once I use one, I'll update. Oh, and because there is no protective strip over the adhesive, bits of dirt and dust were stuck in the top envelope and I anticipate this will happen as I use them. I don't want my clients to open the envelope and see dirt/dust stuck to the gummed part. Not professional at all. Last but not least, these envelopes take up more space lengthwise because the flap is open, due to no adhesive strip, making these approximately the length of a 13" envelope. May send back.
