to reduce the amount of energy required so that my wife with limited ability was able to pedal the bike much easier, with less pain. Also tied this to a new crank and a standard single speed chain sized to the correct length.

Did not fit my crank. The 4 holes line up, but there is too much material on the inside. Have not been able to mount yet. Will have to remove some material.Update July 2020: filed off some of the material and mounted on my bike. Works fine and pedaling is smooth. Have not tracked my times on segments yet but feels fast. Chain stays on smoothly. Let's see how long it will last.

Awesome little oval chain ring..it actually makes a difference coming from a regular ring. Better pedal strikes specially in climbs. Comes with bolts as well. Recomend this.

Great item, great price! I use this on my 2012 Motobecane single speed 29'r Mountain Bike. It makes a noticeable difference.

It was cheap and my chain dosnt fall off anymore only concern is I don't know how long it will last but it's cheap enough that I can buy a few
