I received this APCRBC123-UPC replacement battery yesterday (02/06/26), quickly changed in my APC NS1080, turned the unit ON and the very first thing I noticed that a battery is NOT CHARGED. After about 6 hours the display on my UPC shown fully charged battery and estimated run time 135 minutes WITH NOTHING PLUGED TO THE UPC. (mine original APC battery was showing 158 with NO LOAD on unit). When I connected all cords from my computer (laptop) and monitors (2x4k, + 1x2k) without powering ON (on stand-by only), the estimated battery run time dropped to15 minutes (original was showing around 28 minutes), but when I turned everything ON, the battery run time dropped to 0 ! It is going back....

They came somewhat charged. I charged them in the unit and they held fine. Have them in my network cabinet for about a week with no problems.

I tend to keep technology past its normal life. Most people just replace the whole UPS. I always just replace the batteries. An east and fast replacement.

Works good, reasonable price, make sure you get right pack for your backup. The numbering system is subtle (123 or 124 depending on model).

This battery has been a terrific replacement for my old APC model so far. The price is far better than the OEM replacement, so I felt it was worth a try. It was easy to install and came fully charged. The software that monitors the battery recognized it as a good charged battery and it is fully compatible, no alarms, messages, or warnings. I've only had it a couple of weeks, but it seems like it will be a great fit for my back-up. I'm so glad I went for this one, the quality appears to be very good at a bargain price.

The most recent battery pack in my APC BX1300G UPS completely failed after having given me indications over the course of two days that it was totally kaput! In retrospect, I should have seen its failure coming if I'd paid more attention over the past few months to the information available for display on the unit's front panel, but I don't make a habit of doing that so the failure alerts came as a surprise even though it shouldn't have been!I found this replacement unit after a desperate online search and ordered it. I wasn't sure what to expect since the price was in the mid-range of other vendors, but it turned out to be a brand new, OEM-quality "plug & play" replacement battery pack! It arrived in less than 3 days, and was packed superbly. As advertised, it came pre-charged, and my UPS was fully functioning as soon as I installed it and got everything hooked back up again. Excellent product, very fair pricing, and extraordinary service! :-)

I'm giving this a 4 star. I weighed the original APC battery that came with my UPS, and that came out to be 10 lbs. I weighed this UPC replacement, and it's 9 lbs. In lead acid batteries, weight is important. The heavier it is, the more lead. More lead is better, as it means longer life. This is probably why the warranty is shorter compared to original APC battery.Pros:- plug and play. No need to assemble anything.- perfect fit. I opened the Battery door, pulled the old battery and slid in this new one. All without turning the UPS off.Cons:- weight of battery is less, which means less lead. Service life is unknown. Time will tell if battery will last as long as original APC.
