I bought the Upgraded 360° Swivel Heavy Bag Mount to hang a hammock, and I couldn’t be happier with it! Working great so far, no squeaking from the spinning parts. If you mount this in your basement, be aware that you will feel the hits through your floor when upstairs. The double lags on each side should be enough for regular wooden ceiling trusses, but do not drive these directly to engineered joists; they can't handle holes of this size without compromising their integrity . I made a plywood box sort of thing that nestles up inside the lips, spanning two joists with 16" of contact on each side to spread the load out.

Solid hanger for multiple uses, it has a solid made base and swivel ring to it, the carabiner is fairly solid as well. The swivel is not the best but serviceable. This should be a very durable and long lasting heavy bag mount for me. It was easy to install and assemble and put to use easily. Over all it seems to be a good value at ~15 USD.I can recommend this set.

This heavy bag hanger does what it is supposed to. It is easy enough to mount, comes with the appropriate hardware/components for hanging. The 360 swivel is a nice touch. Just be mindful of your ceiling when buying this...height, I mean. This hanger is fixed in height, so the bag will hang pretty close to the ceiling. If you have a high ceiling then this won't work for you.Otherwise it is will made, sturdy, and will get the job done.

So far, i've been very impressed with this mount. It is a very strong and sturdy swivel unit and you can tell that good quality steel was used to make it. As a bonus, all the screws to attach it to the ceiling also come with it. I also think that it can easily hold a few hundred pounds with ease.

This mount is exactly what I needed for setting up my TRX (suspension trainer) system. It’s strong, well-built, and securely supports my setup -- and EVEN comes with lag bolts for mounting. The 360-degree swivel function is a great feature, allowing for smooth movement and flexibility during workouts. Installation was straightforward, with (as mentioned) all the necessary hardware included. The steel construction feels sturdy, and the black powder coating gives it a nice look (and presumably will help to prevent rust).One of the best things about this mount is the price—it’s very reasonably priced for what it is.

So, I finally decided to dive into the world of boxing! It’s been something I have wanted to do for a while and when my son mentioned he would enjoy it too, well, that cinched it. However, the thought of setting up a home gym was a bit intimidating. I let my son lead the way because he will need to learn these things someday anyway, so he started with the basic questions. Where do you even start?" Well, our first thing was figuring out how to hang that heavy bag without turning my living room into a wrestling ring!After a bit of thought (I swear smoke was billowing out of his ears) and some research, he finally came to me with his ideas of options like chains, springs, and ceiling mounts. Good star! So, we went for this super simple sturdy bag equipment that is just made to do what we wanted.I let my son design and think about all that needed to be done. (I swear there was smoke coming out of his ears at times - but hey! the brain was working!) Finally, he figured it out and he was so thrilled that the installation was a simple project. It sure gave him a lot of confidence in his processing skills! The instructions were straightforward, and the hardware included made it really easy for him. He has never done any of this kind of project before because he didn't show an interest until recently and this was a great project for him! He may not be Bob the Builder, but he got this done in under an hour with only minimal instruction from me. Mostly I just had to remind him how important it is to use a good quality stud finder and why...and the proper way to use it as well.Now, we are both using this bag and punching with a purpose! The mount is rock solid, and those noise-dampening pads? Well, my bride is very happy since the kitchen and her home office both share walls with the exercise room. Finally, I can channel my inner Rocky without worrying about what time of day it is. But dad fail discovered....My son and I need to sit down and watch Rocky together!This little gem not only improved our home gym, but boosted my son's confidence in his ability to do difficult, or at least new, things that he has never done before and do a good job with it. Boosted confidence is priceless and so is spending time with my boy. (after all I only got two boys out of all 12 children!!)Oh, and if you’re feeling adventurous, grab two mounts for your hammock too!I happily give this Ceiling Mount 5 “Heavyweight Titles!”
