How to Install:
1. Turn Power Switch to the Off position.
2. Make sure the dust bin is empty, then place Roomba upside down (with cleaning brushes showing ) on a flat surface.
3. Put the battery into the battery compartment using your fingers.
4. Finally the Battery will be clicked into place when properly seated
Note: If you don't use the battery for long time, please recharge it every three months to prolong the battery lifetime.

Works great for our old i robot roomba that was tossed out for free by previous owner who didn't care to buy replacement battery! I scooped up their trash hopped on Amazon & now have a perfect working little vacuuming helper buddy for me . Amazon for the win again. Affordable for us. Super easy to put in. Fit perfectly using serial number. It goes long enough. I think the more dirt or times the robot gets stuck on obstructions or accidently finding a lost sock the battery dies faster. But if floor is basically clean & vacuum is ran regularly this can do our whole 1,200 square ft house no problem and return to base by self before dying.

The original battery had grown weak and would only last 45 minutes on the carpet. After 4 years and several hundred hours it was about time to replace the battery. Got this one, charged it for 24 hours and let iRobot do it's thing. 45 minutes later the battery was dead. Charged for 48 hours and tried it again. 45 minutes and dead. Yes. It works. Just as well as the one I replaced. Do not buy.

I am so grateful that these batteries are available and we are able to use our device for longer. These batteries fit perfectly, and now my vacuum has been able to last as it used to!

For the first months, this battery seemed to be just fine. After only a few months now it is not holding charge and my Roomba is getting stranded with an empty battery DAILY. They probably did not even use real alkaline batteries in there, but just 'regular' rechargeable batteries. I am not sure if original batteries have electronics/a chip in them to TELL the Roomba to return to the docking station.I can tell you that THIS BATTERY PACK apparently hits a power cliff and just dies without warning when it is dead.If this AMAZON seller has integrity, they will offer to replace it, but since it is past the first 30 days, I guess I am stuck with a bad investment.

Excellent price and took only minutes to replace. The big test is life span and only time will tell but so far no issues at all !
