I am not using it for yard work. But as an extension upward of the handlebars on a stationary bike to reduce stress on the back, too. The stationary bike has a handlebar of the thickness that most regular bikes have. This fits perfectly as it is adjustable. Would not fit an item that is much larger in circumference. Great quality. I was impressed, this is no cheap metal or paint. Better than expected. The adjustment is easy, just 4 screws and 2 metal plates that include the circular open space, it can be tightened as desired with tool provided. Easy to use. Just minutes for a regular person to install.

Despite the easy installation and decent - looking materials, this product is a nightmare to use. The constant need to tighten it every few minutes is beyond frustrating. I can't focus on my weeding tasks because I'm constantly having to stop and adjust. It's supposed to make my job easier, but it's actually adding more hassle. I wouldn't recommend this to anyone who values their time and sanity.

Awesome! Saves your back and easy to install. Doesn’t tighten in one place, but adjusts to you. Highly recommend

I purchased this grip, along with the slightly higher priced Darwin Grip. Bottom line, they are both very good products, but the Darwin grip is made of better materials and slightly higher quality. I used this grip on my string trimmer for about two weeks. Used a little blue Loctite on the attachment screws. When I removed it and moved it to a different trimmer to install the Darwin grip, I noticed the bracket was starting to react to the blue Loctite and there was corrosion. It has never been exposed to water where the elements. It appears to me the bracket is reacting to either the Loctite or the different metal in the attaching screws. This is a great grip. I highly recommend it for residential use. I would not buy it for commercial use and if you plan on removing it and moving it around on different trimmers I do not recommend. If you are a residential user, attach it to your trimmer and you’ll probably get plenty of good years of use. If you are a commercial user, spend 20 extra dollars on the Darwin grip.

One back surgery, plus additional arthritis in my lower back made weed whacking an insurmountable task and something I would always put off. Not only does this handle make it easier, (I still don't look forward to it), but the lightweight material means my back doesn't have to support much more than it had to before. The tubular metal design makes the handle so much sturdier in the mount makes it easy to adjust between users. I wouldn't own a weed whacker without it!

I ordered this extension handle because my back always hurts after weed trimming. As I was installing, the mount frame cracked near the bolt hole. I contacted customer support by email and received a response in less than a day. I had included my photos and with a little additional info, the representative said they were mailing out a replacement part. I was cautioned that it was coming usps so there could be some delays, but I received it in a couple of days. I was very impressed with the quick and courteous customer service.I like that the handle is light weight but sturdy. I may have to adjust it as I use it more to find the right angle, but I can weed trim standing upright and so far no back pain!Very happy with my purchase.

It works perfectly but way too expensive for them not to sell an additional mount so you don’t have to buy a second one if you just want to transfer the bar to a second trimmer. I have a blade trimmer and a string trimmer. Don’t want to have to buy 2.

I had seen someone else using this and asked about it. It's a great addition to save your back. It's well made and easy to install. I do notice that because of vibration from the trimmer, you have to keep watch on the nuts/bolts that are on the part that mounts to your trimmer's shaft. They will loosen. It's easy to tell when this happens because the handle will easily rotate.
