Excellent fit for my Laguna 14BX bandsaw. Superior to the factory tires which just came loose. I also like that these tires are made here in the USA

This is not a long term review. The tires came today for my new/used bandsaw and I thought I would mention that it comes with a handy install tool.I watched a few videos how to install bandsaw tires, and I was concerned that I'd be spending a good part of an hour trying to stretch them on the wheel. After soaking in hot tap water for a few minutes, I succeeded on my second try using the handy little tool they include. On my first attempt I used one spring clamp, however it slipped. I added a second clamp, and a minute later I was done.

These tires seem very heavy duty. I soaked them in hot water for 15 minutes. They were very tight to put on so I asked for some help. The tool and using the clamps did the trick and made it fairly easy. Just be patient and work slowly. Now we will see how long they last.

If you follow the directions these are very easy to install. Got my bandsaw back running the way it is supposed to. Would highly recommend.

You MUST remove the wheels from the band saw in order to install the tires. The wheels may requires a 5" wheel puller ($20 set from Harbor Freight). I clamped the wheel to my work table. I also used three Irwin squeeze clamps. Be sure to soak the tire in VERY hot water for five minutes prior to stretching onto wheel, using gloves.
