I didn't buy these for reasons most people do, so read my review with that in mind. Mind, there's a segue... I'm a mind-reader and had the idea to fill one of the empty cups with apple juice and put on the lid, then pull out four more that were already filled, but NOT with apple juice (if you get my drift). Then I put on a blindfold, someone mixes up the cups so nobody knows which one is "safe," and then I use the powers of my mind to find the one cup with apple juice, pop the top, and drink it. Ta-da!I cut one star from my review because the labels are wonky. In the picture you can see that the paper label isn't stuck onto the "roughed area" of the cup -- it's half on and half off, and way tilted. A couple of the labels are right on, but the rest aren't (and one is completely on the opposite side of where it should be).For most people that will NOT be a problem, but it really bugs the OCD part of me. If I could have lopped off only a half star, I would have done that.

We got these because our dog gets bladder stones and needs to have pee tests every 3 months. Every time we go to the vet with him, he gets pee shy and doesn't want to go. Last time we spent 3 hours driving around and stopping in various places for him to go and he just wouldn't go. Thus, we decided to get these and have him go at home and run it to the vet asap once we got a sample. These come with a label so we can enter his name and date of pee, and it's not leak proof if you're going to be shaking the piss out of it (no pun intended) but a normal trip isn't going to cause you a pee leakage. In other words, you won't spill pee on you or the interior of your car. It's also nice for us to be able to do pee tests at home in between vet visits to make sure his pee is maintaining the right ph levels which will help him avoid getting stones. So, yes, I'd recommend to anyone who needs a good specimen container. And, as I read this out loud to check for grammar, my dog wooed in agreement.

I don't know about you, but man, do I hate doing that pee test, when I go to the lab for the bloodwork for upcoming doctor visits. The time, fuss and potential mess of the whole thing bugs the living hoohaa out of me, and these little bottles have solved that problem. I always assumed the woman at the lab would refuse a sample i brought in, suspecting me of actually using someone else's pee, but since I am not there for drug testing when I finally got up my nerve and took my own sample in, she received it enthusiastically. Seems she is happy to cut down on fuss, mess and additional time, as much as I am. I will never be without these little bottles again, and I am only too happy to find this source here on Amazon, they are terrific, and though I put them in a zip-lock bag in my purse, when heading to the lab, they do not leak. Putting them in a pocket is something you could do without worry. Get them and save yourself all that fuss at the lab. Whatever gets you out of the lab quicker is a really good thing. Big recommendation!

The quality of these is fine for a one-use product and even for multiple uses if you have an off-label application like storing or mixing paint. The molding is clean where it counts so these will seal fine if you give it a firm tightening. There are graduations molded in which seem accurate, at least enough for mixing epoxy or 2-part paint. The material is polypropylene, so plenty resistant to common solvents. The guage of the plastic is a little on the thin side, plenty for keeping a urine specimen on the inside even with some rough handling, but perhaps thin enough to allow some oxygen or solvent migration if used to store paints for an extended period.Overall, plenty good enough for the intended purpose, I would shop on price if you consume these on a regular basis. Buying in larger lots seems to make a big difference too. These are $2 per cup at today's price, I expect you can get them for $1 if you shop around.

These cups are a little thinner than I was expecting and the lids feel like they could strip if I over tighten them. I am not actually using these for liquid, but they are water tight at room temp with room temp water. For how long will they not leak, I am not sure. However, because they don't have a sealing liner, I don't expect these to seal enough for long-term storage against liquid or gas leaks.Overall, I don't think they would be bad for liquid sample collection. I only gave these 4 stars because of how thin they are and how the labels come pre-attached. I think they should leave the labels off for the ease of writing. I have a feeling most medical personnel are going to put labels directly over these labels anyway, so maybe it doesn't really matter.

It looks good and feels good and is easy to open and easy to close and keep closed as needed...I think it would have been better if the labels were not already on the cup as it would be easier to fill out a label on a table or desk before applying the label to the jar but aside from that this is very good of it's kind.Good day & God Bless...Randall M. These little cups are well made and most importantly have a tight seal. They are clean and do not leak. Having the cups on hand saves a lot of time and trouble when providing a urine specimen for analytical labs. Unfortunately they are not sterile which is big drawback depending on the technician and the particular lab that you deal with. Some accept the sample with little question and others don't.Damon M.
