Direct replacement. Old one tore while replacing air filter. I was unable to save and reuse the original clamp, so I used a standard worm clamp (not a perfect solution due to the way the hose is molded, but it works). Packs of hose clamps are inexpensive on Amazon and Harb Freight

For 2005 MINI Cooper S convertible. The old one was beginning to split so I got this as being much better value than the OEM part @ around $90. It came covered in white dust (talc?) which easily washed off as I didn't want any of it getting into the intake. Fit is good and side-by-side, compares well with the original MINI part that it replaced.

OE-Nummern BMW 13721491743 und Qualität ist auch Gut . Das Gummi ich weich !Tipp : Die obere Klemmschelle konnte ich mit eine Rohrzange wieder schlissen bzw. wieder Verwenden , die untere am Drosselklappengehäuse geht nur mit eine Federbandschellenzange.Ich habe ein normale Schlauchschelle verwendet !Ich kann es nur empfehlen..

HAPPY!!! Product has the same code as the OEM part and this one might actually be better because it's a bit flexible whereas the OEM one is stiff and this means this one actually works better ( Less likely to crack etc)

Fit real well except I had to buy different hose clamps. Wasn’t able to get the stock clamps closed. They are also 9 mm wide which wasn’t easy to find

This is an exact fit for the R53 air box to Throttle Body hose. Much improved over the dried and cracked 17 year old hose.
