Imagine the only thing that my 2011 E92 V8 M3 failed is this windshield pressure pump.Simple gadget but a nightmare to install. Not the fault of the pump but the German's that designed and decided to put the tank and pump inbetween the fender and engine fire wall. I had to remove the wheel well liner, loosen the fender, remove the side skirts and the running board.Imagine if after all that trouble and pump doesn't do its job, this would be a -100 star!

2008 535iIt was an 11$ part that shipped and was delivered quickly. I used a multi meter to verify my previous windshield washer was the problem and it was changed out and in, in under 5 minutes total. Zero issues with installation as this part is an exact replica of the oem unit, very easy to pop in the part, connect a wiring harness and one washer fluid line with a very snug fit in the washer reservoir. If your bmw washer pump is bad I'd highly recommend this replacement part.

I knew I had a problem with my washer on my 2007 BMW convertible, but I did not know if it was a bad pump or just a leaking grommet. So I ordered both before I started to job to be prepared for whatever I found. I followed a you tube video from CarkingSpot that was very helpful. The replacement from start to finish took about two hours. i used both the new pump and grommet/strainer just to be sure, and tested the washer before I put everything back together. The new pump works great, and shoots the washer fluid just as well as the old factory pump did. I think this is a great, cost effective alternative to some of the more expensive pumps out there.

Worked perfectly on 2006 bmw 330i. Installation is somewhat difficult as bmw put the fluid reservoir inside the fender.

Since the original part was not working when I purchsed my vehicle (2015 BMW 328i), I don't know how the original pump behaved, but this replacement seems to do the job very well.I wouldn't call the replacement simple, but it wasn't terrible. Probably took about an hour of time to install. On this vehicle, it requires removing the front passenger side wheel-well liner and the washer fluid reservoir. I had to refer to a couple of videos for some hints, but one of my main sticking points when removing the liner was when I needed to remove the attached plastic trim piece on the outside that is held with rivet-like plastic bits. They appeared at first to be possibly small hex-head screws since they had small dimples in the middle. But the center is actually a small plastic pin/rod that you need to push through with a pick or some other pointed tool. Once that has been done, then the rivets, which are split and expand with the pin, will have collapsed allowing the trim and the rivets to be removed. The other point of trouble was with the fill neck. The hose has to be removed from the reservoir to allow it to tilt forward enough to free the bottom of it from the keyed opening it rests in. Keep in mind that the hose is thin plastic flex tubing...not rubber (which I thought). I ended up piercing it with a pick while trying to remove the hose from the capped fill opening. You can get a little additional wiggle room by removing the screw-expanded rivet that holds that fill opening. In the end I managed to free the hose from the reservoir, but I'm not sure how it was actually freed as it's got barbs which snap it in place. Once you manage to get the reservoir out, the rest of the steps are pretty straightforward.Included photos comparing the original part and this one.

It works great on my 2008 BMW 550i, weaker than OEM but does it job.
