I bought these for an outdoor continuous bird sound recorder (BirdWeather PUC). I cut a hole in both the sticky pads and the floof so as not to compromise the mics and this seems to have worked fine. I was worried that once wet they would become matted and hold moisture but it is so windy here things dry VERY quickly once rain has stopped and the dead cats are no different. They don’t seem to hold moisture and dabbing a dry paper towel into the middle thru to the mic, they don’t seem to be holding any moisture at the base either. And they've made a terrific difference to the sound recordings cutting out most of the excess wind noise I was getting before fitting them.

I used this product for motorcycle vlogging. It is easy to use, just peel and stick. Clear voice and helps reduce wind noise .

Use these on my GoPro to minimize (NOT STOP) wind noise during filming my motorbike rides.They massively reduce the noise allowing the footage to be used with the original sound recoding directly off the camera making for a much more pleasant viewing experience when viewing the footage back.Easy to cut and manipulate into the required shape and VERY sticky they will not fall off.:)

I'm confident these are fine but they were not what I needed for going over the mic like a sleeve/sock.

I found my Sony helmet cam was picking up a lot of wind noise on the way to work so I was searching for a way to reduce it. A Youtube video suggested sticking one of these over the microphone holes so I bought a pack and tried it out. I found that the wind noise is reduced a little but what I don't get any more is the harsh sound when the wind suddenly comes in from the side when I turn my head.As I said, a niche use case but it works well and I've got lots more to use when this one comes unstuck!

Super sticky. Almost too sticky. Be careful when removing from a wedding tux etc.they work great tho

Great to cover the mic’s on a GoPro just make a little hole in the sticky pads.
