I have ordered various flavors (from various mfgs) of these fins over the years for myself and my family members. I typically use them for snorkeling on family vacations, work, etc. which is about 2x / year. This purchase totally worked as expected. I rinse these off with fresh (not salty) water after using them in case there are any metal components underneath the buckles (metal springs). My last pair (purchased 8 or so years ago) is still working just fine, but my kid took them. I hope this pair lasts as long. I wear a size U.S. 10 shoe, and ordered a 'medium' pair. They are snug but work just fine. I am a 'backpacker' and tend to travel light so this is a good size.

Have now had these fins for 4 years and they are a quality purchase. They’ve come with on countless snorkel adventures in various ocean conditions. They’ve been strapped to a kayak, stuffed into a carry-on Osprey Porter 46 back pack, and tossed into a beach bag for a quick swim. They rinse clean from sandy, salty, and chlorine swims.Size Small fits 4-7 shoe sizes. The adjustable heel strap is easy to tighten while swimming and easy to put on right at the shoreline. I’ve even had to remove these while holding onto the side of a kayak and that’s been quick.Highly recommend if you can get a well-manufactured pair!

And when strapped on, the stylish little lip that they put on the toe window is extremely uncomfortable, digging in to the bed of the nails. Sure, I could wear neoprene booties, and be more comfortable. These are such a practically small size you can walk in them which is ideal for river snorkeling.

Great pair of fins. I have yet to use them in the water but wearing them around the house feels comfortable and lightweight.Edit: I've used them and they're great but the straps on the back come loose very often.

Solid quality, heavier than expected. Will provide update when i've used them in the water but they fit well with fin socks (bought on amazon for $5) and i didnt notice the back band sliding. I am a size ladies 7.5, but my husband is a mens 10 and even he could get these on and make them work.

Son más cortas que las aletas tradicionales de snorkel pero se compensa por ser más anchas, por lo que tienen un excelente desempeño y son mucho más fáciles de transportar en un viaje, en lo personal las recomiendo mucho.

Bought these for a cruise where we had lots of snorkeling excursions planned. Been using fins of various kinds for almost 4 decades. I was totally surprised at how well these fins performed. So much easier to pack away. Perfect length for being careful around sensitive ocean flora. Note: The strap keepers would not hold tightly. The ends of the straps have loops which I was able to hold together using zip ties during the cruise. Later I just replaced the heel strap with neoprene and velcro types from an old pair of flippers. I still think they're great.

Love these fins. I was kind of skeptical about how they would work and feel, but I was pleasantly surprised. I used these on 2 recent snorkeling trips. I got the small size since I usually wear a 7.5 shoe. My heel extends a bit beyond the foot pocket so I was unsure, but once in the water, I couldn't believe how comfortable and effective these fins were. I did not have any issues with rubbing or discomfort at all. I tested snorkeling with and without the fins, and they definitely made a big difference. The straps were easy to adjust; no issues. These fins fit great in the US Divers Coast Backpack Bag that I also bought from Amazon and the yellow color perfectly matches the US Divers Luxe Purge Grenada XL Snorkel set also from Amazon. I opted to buy the fins separately from the snorkel set because I wanted a better mask and snorkel than came with the set that was bundled with the fins.

Overall, I liked these flippers a lot. I used them for a week-long snorkeling trip in the Bahamas and was pleased with the results.Pros:1. Easy to transport. Compact size makes them easy to carry, especially if flying. I was able to take them in my carry-on.2. Easy to walk in. Walking forward in flippers is usually impossible, but you can in these!3. Easy to take on/off. The short length and quick-tighten straps makes these easy to manage when you're getting pounded by waves in the surf zone. They're also easy to quickly adjust while swimming.4. Comfortable. The rubber heel strap cinches on both sides making them highly adjustable.5. Wide size range. I have W size 7 feet and got the small which fit great, and they also worked on someone with much larger feet than my own. This also means that you should probably wear them with swim booties though.Cons:1. Require more energy to swim. It makes sense that since these are compact flippers, they have less surface area and thus aren't as effective as larger flippers. The question is, how much less effective are they than bigger flippers? I definitely needed to work harder to get around in these. However, I'm not a very strong swimmer, and for the most part short swims in calm to moderately choppy water were fine. On longer swims though it was pretty exhausting using these flippers, especially when the tide was going out. I would have felt much safer in larger fins that were more energy-efficient.Overall, these were excellent fins. If you're only using them in a pool, calm water, or for short snorkels, or if you're a confident swimmer they are great, but if you're doing something more involved you might want to consider standard-sized fins.

I purchased these for my wife when we booked an Apple vacation to an all-inclusive in Mexico. She is a petite 5'2", 95lb Asian lady who doesn't know how to swim, and I figured these would be good for her to learn with. When paired with a good pair of neoprene (Fin) socks to avoid chaffing, they worked very well. They are wide and fit into her suitcase much better than my much longer, traditional US Diver fins. They withstood a fair amount of abuse from sharp coral and rocks, with only a few minor scratches. They enabled her to tread water fairly easily, and they were much more ridged than longer fins (so she could easily stand and balance on the tip-toes of her fins in water that was 8" above her head). They are short and stubby, but they are a marked improvement over going barefoot. Also, I can't stress enough... get swim socks, dive booties, or neoprene socks to go with any fins. comment is independent of whatever fins you purchase. Dive socks will seriously protect your feet from chaffing, blisters, scrapes and hot sand. Nothing ruins a trip like tearing the skin off your toes or ankles.
