Replaced the thermocoupler on my heat&glo propane fireplace with this one in October. It barely made it 3 months and it's already broken. Sick and tired of all of these cheap products!

This thermocouple was a perfect fit for my Harman LP gas fireplace. The threads matched correctly at the thermocouple and gas valve ends. I gave 3 stars for installation because it's a finnicky job that takes a some patience, there isn't a fitment problem. Besides installing the thermocouple you have do disassemble quite a bit of the fireplace to make the replacement and there's tight quarters at the gas valve end. The fireplace is 18 years old, the first thermocouple lasted 14 years, the second one lasted 4. I hope this one is equal to the original!

Ordered and arrived very quickly. A prefect replacement for our Heat-N- Glo fire place. We hope this one lasts as long as our 12 year old original.

After several contractors told me that they couldn't fix my gas fireplace, but offered to install a new one for $7500, I ordered this $10 part and saved a fortune.

Had problems keeping the pilot light lit for longer than a couple hours. One google search later they showed me how to test my current thermocouple as well as informing me they go bad quite often so its not unusual at all. Sure enough this fixed it and now its running perfectly. I was so happy with the fit and results that i even bought another one to keep on hand for just in case i should ever need another one.

The thermocouple was a direct replacement for the original thermocouple. The pilot would light but would not stay lit when turning to "On". After watching YouTube videos, I tested the thermocouple and found the millivolt signal to be low. Ordered the thermocouple through Amazon and it arrive in a couple of days. Had to remove the logs and other parts to get to the thermocouple. Changed out the old thermocouple with the new one. Make sure you reseal around the pilot assembly with "Fire Block" caulk (red in color) after the new thermocouple is installed. After everything was put back together, the fireplace started right up and has been working great.
