I built this box to hold the knife I had made for a 25yr retired Navy veteran and I needed a medallion to signify his service in that branch of service. After searching several medallions, I found many were too big, or too small, too thin, or the wrong material for my use. Then I found this two sided coin, with either the Sailors Creed or the eagle and shield. It was EXACTLY what I was looking for. I attached it to the lid of the box to display it proudly, and when this veteran was presented this gift, his eyes lit up and all he could say at the moment was "WOW!" Thank you for having exactly what I needed to make this and so many other veterans' hearts swell with pride when they are presented a symbol and recognition of their service. The medallion I received was well made and perfect for this application, and I can honestly say this coin is definitely a good value and a great bargain for anyone looking for a gift to give a serviceman. They definitely will not be disappointed.
