I had trouble finding a product to remove stains on the bottom of my in ground pool. I had used a liquid stain remover previously and had zero results. I used the pumice and it easily rubbed away the stain.

Removed dark rust stains from my gunite pool! Someone left a Bobby pin in my pool where it wreaked havoc on the bottom of the pool for about 2 weeks creating about 30 Bobby pin rust stains. I tried the following without results: scrubbing with wire brush, scrubbing with chlorine tablet, and scrubbing with vitamin C tablets. I bought the 3 pack of pumice stone sticks and I used almost 2 sticks. I even found some older organic stains and the stick removed those as well. It is physically demanding and took me approximately 3 hours to get the stains out. Luckily, most of the stains were in the shallow end and I got in the water and scrubbed with the sticks attached to the pole. The areas I scrubbed do feel a little smoother but no divets or indents of the surface. Very happy!!!

I used these to remove rust stain from bottom of pool. The stones are sturdy and worked great using my pool handle for the skimmer basket.

I purchased these at the same time that I purchased a big pumice stone with no handle feature. These may enable the user to attach them to a telescoping pole, but it's absurd to think that one can add real pressure from that distance and remove mineral build up. Plus, these pumice heads are like trying to remove minerals with glass. Even when I used them in hand (off pole), they just did nothing. Tossed them right in the trash. NOT RECOMMENDED.

Works as described, requires effort (!!), and do not think this is an easy solution to stain problems. The stones will eventually remove the stains from the plaster, but it requires pressure and effort. Good product, worth the $.
