Your cart is empty.This is for one (1) quality marine grade stainless steel (AISI 316) pelican hook. Each pelican hook is stamped 316. The pelican hooks are made in the metric specification of M6. The thread is M6 and has a pitch of 1. Not to be used for overhead lifting. AISI 316 stainless is a premium grade of stainless and is considered by many to be best in class. 316 stainless is corrosion resistant and very durable even in the harshest of conditions.

The original pelican hooks that came on our boat are difficult to operate. They jam up and the pin is hard to line up. I purchased this replacement for an original that came apart. I will be replacing all my hooks with these.

Even though the whole thing including the thread looks exactly the same, this was a slightly different thread than the one on my boat. So I ended up just stealing the spring mechanism off it and throwing the rest out, unfortunately. But that was all I needed. But it is solid, if it happens to be the right thread for your needs.
