The grip is nice in the hands and the distribution doesn't feel uneven but otherwise they're very whelming. Which is not to say they're disappointing, these are nice and simple.

First thing to know is these are concrete encased in plastic so you can't be throwing them around or the concrete will break apart and make all kinds of noise. Also the plastic will break apart and they'll lose weight as the broken concrete falls out. Other than that they are a nice set of kettle balls with good texture to them to help you keep a good grip. I can see how the texture might bother some people but if you wear gloves it shouldn't be an issue to you. These are also going to be bigger than the metal version of the same weight due to the density of the different materials used so keep that in mind if you're short on storage space. The numbers are nice, colorful and large so they're easy to identify from across the room. The handles are plenty big enough for most people to use easily with room to spare.

Nice set of kettlebells! Excellent construction and quality materials. They seem like they are going to last with my use. When they “twist” in my hand. The texture of the handles does cause friction. I think when I use these to do that type of move, I will probably wear my gloves. I do find that some weights hurt my hands so I did buy gloves. This is one of those. When using an in-line motions, they don’t hurt you can just feel the texture for grip. Honestly I almost feel like with kettle bells I would want them smooth so they can in your hand. All of my other kettle bells have metal handles without texture…. So I did notice this right away that it’s a little uncomfortable when they move in my hand. Overall, there are nice quality set!

Nice set of kettle bells for my home gym. These are plastic and not steel so be careful about getting rough dropping them or they will probably crack.

Nice grips, properly balanced kettle bells. The plastic bottoms don't mark surfaces, and have not scratched my vinyl flooring.
