Outer case is pretty solid and completely washable. A safe way to store podcasting equipment. Extremely thick and cushy inner foam is removable if more space is needed for cords etc. A solid carry handle. Love the sleek appearance. The zippers glide smoothly on the track, just don’t overstuff it or you can put them in a bind. Makes it simple for traveling. Perfect gift idea for DJ in the family. I always appreciate a quality item at an affordable price.

I love the pick n pluck foam, you can get this for any gear and ,are it look like a custom case!The case is very lightweight and it’s a molded flexible plastic of some sort. Not a rigid case by any means, but a decent light duty storage case. The foam will protect most incidents, but a good drop or something running over this will demolish the case and whatever is inside.

Quality, durable, tough, sturdy. Great mid size carrying case. Highly recommended. Good adujustable foam inside, easy to use, keeps items snug. No negatives. Good zippers and straps. I wish it had a lock, but it's great without one too. Nicer than expected. Good value.

This USA GEAR case is called a "hardshell" case, but don't expect anything like a hardshell guitar case; a more descriptive term might be "semi-hardshell", as the outer material is more pliable than that of a typical guitar case. For this reason, I would recommend this item more to home users than those who would be subjecting their gear to the rigors of the road. I can envision the fabric handle, in particular, coming loose within a fairly short time...similarly, I have little confidence in the cover hinge's durability, as it's just a piece of soft plastic material. In addition, the double zipper closure scares me, as I have seen many zippers fail in my day. My advice is to seek out something sturdier if you're going on the road...my local discount store offers hard plastic cases that would be far more durable for a similar price.All of the above is not to say that this USA GEAR case is useless. On the contrary, I believe it will make a nice case for my microphones. (Though it's called a mixer case, only very small mixers such as those offered by Behringer will fit.) The interior foam offers plenty of protection, and is easily customized using the included foam guide sheet. But it must be said that this case won't be leaving my house.If you are considering one of these, you would do well to examine one before buying. It may or may not fit your needs.
