The track has to be assembled and is a pain to click together. The car wont work if the track is not straight and wont hang to use the suction cups. Kids were disappointed, but did enjoy the glow effect.

The track is easier to snap if you follow the direction and connect on an angle first. Even still, its too difficult for a young child.My 4 year old son LOVES this track. It glows in the dark, can make cool configurations and the car goes really fast. We are returning because the battery life to get it to go on any pathway other than a simple bump free circle is less than a day. With new batteries it can go up the wall, on its side and even upside down (with a nudge). After a few runs, it looses steam. He seems to enjoy the circle, but we don't want to keep replacing batteries and bought it for more than a simple circle pathway. You also need at least 160-200 pieces to make this worthwhile.

Very dangerous the car caught my child's kept winding, some of the butterfly tracks broke and were also hard to snap for some, the car is really fast and spins and spins, upon setting it up for Christmas the kids were excited the tracks glow when the car is tracks , child pick car caught hair kept spinning it was horrifying

My son really loves this toy - especially the car since it lights up and you can change the look... however, the track itself is a bit difficult to assemble - even if you follow their recommendations for attaching the pieces. My hands were torn up by the time I finished assembling. Also, when I finished and went to attach the launch plate to the whole track, a piece snapped off. I was so disappointed, thinking my son wasn't going to be able to play with it at all. Luckily, you could still use it, however, you couldn't get the car to go around over and over... just single launches. The car can also be used without the track. It drains batteries really fast, though. Customer service responded pretty timely when I inquired about the broken piece. They sent me a replacement part within about 2 weeks. Regardless of its poor quality design, it still provides hours of fun in our house!

It’s pretty impressive the power the car has. It’s able to go up pretty steep inclines on its own. And the track has suction cups you can use to help the track stay if you want to put it on something besides the ground. It was fairly easy to assemble; the track was a little hard to push the pieces together but it makes the track sturdy. My two kids ages 1 and 3 love it and have been playing with it non stop!
