It's very inexpensive so you get what you pay for. Occasionally the device you have plugged into it stops working and you have to unplug it and plug it back in again. I've had this happen with several devices.

Seems like a decently made product, sturdy yet lightweight and functions as it should. For small laptops with few USB ports, this is a must have accessory. Priced well.

I bought this on woot for a Christmas gift for my boyfriend and he loves it. He needed a few more ports for his work desktop at home. This works for everything he needed it to work for. Very impressed.

It's an unpowered hub. The speed is okay. It doesn't heat up. It connects unpowered/low powered devices just fine.You're not going to charge things with this. Then again, you're not meant to. For that, you need a powered hub or a charging station.
