Note: The drivers for the adapter were provided via CD, so make sure you have a capable reader or a way to copy the files in a useable form for your needs.This adapter was a great way to introduce bluetooth adaptability to my old laptop and PCs, but needed to be portable to do so. This level of daily-drive wear-and-tear had the metal shielding or plastic casing separating from the rest of the adapter, so I had to bind it with electrical tape. Other than that, it is still performing well.

instant plug and play on Windows/Linux/Unix and pairs quickly and easily with all manner of peripherals for of those mentioned tested O/S. Range and connections are good and stable without interference or disconnects even under 24/7 operating conditions. Overall quite a satisfying purchase.

I am very grateful to have this, it allows me to use my wireless bluetooth headset with my desktop PC at work. Didn't realize it requires a software driver, turns out the driver is included on a mini-CD or is also available from a download. Works great, but I have to remember to unplug my wired headset before I use the bluetooth headset.

Amazingly simple to use and install. Well worth the money connects quickly to every Bluetooth device I have paired it to. No issues with cutting out or lagging to connect.

I use this on an older desktop (15+ yrs) and it connects to all my wireless headphones. All headphones have no interruption except my most expensive one. Which drops periodically, not sure why yet. A great Product at great price point.

Muy decepcionado con este producto. Para instalar los drivers necesitas un lector de discos ya que el manual no trae ninguna dirección para descargarlos de internet. Lo quería para conectar unos audífonos, pero al ponerlo en un puerto usb como a un 1.2 metro de distancia y no recibía sonido. Lo probé en un puerto mas cercano y sí se escuchaba pero entrecortado. Tengo un teclado inalámbrico de logytech y este traía una especie de extensión usb de señal, lo probé con eso pero aunque el sonido mejoro, aun así se corta con frecuencia y da un mal sonido. Recomiendo que compres algo mas caro o de una marca mejor si no quieres perder tu dinero.

The connectivity is terrible and it drops all the time if it's blocked from the Bluetooth device at all. It also crashes and has to be unplugged and plugged in again or have to restart the whole computer to get it to work again.On the flipside it was very easy to install and since I paid so little for both of them in the first place, I'm not terribly offended. I use a powered USB3 port extender to raise it up to the top of the computer and it broadcasts to my headphones okay as long as I don't slouch or block my conduction phones from the receiver. If there are contending Bluetooth signals it works worse, and I'm in an apartment complex which means I'm marinating in wireless signals. If you were in a house and it was the only thing broadcasting it would much better for you. It also gets worse over time, I used to be able to use them one room over with no issue and now if I'm more than 5 feet away it starts cutting out. You get what you pay for.
