It works and the USB earphone jack is more stable than a 3.5 on a previous splitter. My phone (Samsung Galaxy S23 Ultra) doesn't see it as "fast charging, but I am too old and goofy to do any actual tests. I own 680+ audiobooks from Chirp and Audible so it gets a lot of use.

I ordered this to use on a VR Headset to keep from plugging and unplugging accessories into it.It functions well in that regard, but only one of the ports will take power.So for my needs in the VR Headset it didnt work.Using it in other settings though it works perfectly.I have used it on my laptop to connect multiple devices and it performs great.The one charging side allows my fast charging devices to stay charged at full speed.The cable is well made with braided covers and is very flexible. I am very happy to keep this in use on my computer.

I listen to audiobooks on my iPhone a LOT, which has the potential to use up my iPhone's battery but leaves me without a way to charge it if I'm listening to headphones that are plugged into the USB C port. That's where this splitter comes in - it plugs into the single USB C on my iPhone, but gives me two USB C ports - one for headphones, and one for a charger. Each one has a little label/symbol to identify which end is for which. This is definitely a handy little piece of tech that I recommend!

I couldn't really tell if the charging capability reduced or not so I'd assume it wasn't a huge difference. The sound quality was alright , I already use an adapter for my headphones so if it got worse I'd notice, the USB port could use a bit more structure as one of my USB-C plugs stuck out more than the other, the build quality is alright for the price, and overall I'd recommend this for a good carry if you only have wired headphones and are on a budget.

Works great when product works but more times than not it doesn't seem to deliver power to my phone. The audio side seems to work flawlessly though.Really wanted to like this product as it feels like it is made out of good material and would be good value for it's cost however it's inability to always charge when being used in a massive drawback for me.
