Seems to work good 75% time, frequent loss of picture. Tv will read no signal sometimes. When it works it is good.

Tested this on my laptop with my Asus touchscreen monitors. It splits the display fine, powers up with the 100W PD, and the USB 3.0 works as expected. But there’s a slight signal delay that messes with the touch function—kinda annoying for quick taps or drags. Okay for basic dual-screen stuff, less so for touch precision.

Great way to extend into multiple monitors

I normally have 3 external monitors connected to my work laptop through an external docking station. When I visit my daughter in another state, I usually stay for a few days and work remotely. She has 2 external monitors I can use, but without a docking station I can only connect 1 to my work laptop. So I work off my small laptop screen and the 1 external monitor. She has another external monitor available, but I have no connections for it on my laptop.I ordered this USB-C Dual HDMI Adapter so I can plug it in to one of my 2 USB-C ports (Dell laptop), then connect to both of her HDMI monitors, and still use my laptop screen as a 3rd monitor. Unfortunately, all 3 screens are different sizes and resolutions, but at least I CAN display something on the 3rd screen now. Plug & Play with Windows.The free DesktopOK utility lets me save the positions of all my desktop icons on my standard 3-display setup. If they get rearranged when connected through the Dual HDMI Adapter, I can easily revert them back when I reconnect to my standard 3-display setup.As a bonus, it has a standard USB port, so I can plug a small USB hub into that port and plug my wired USB keyboard & mouse into the hub. I leave the keyboard, mouse, & hub at her house so I don't have to remember to bring them when I visit. So now when I visit, I plug the USB hub & the 2 HDMIs into the adapter, then only occupy 1 USB-C port to drive all the external peripherals. It's almost like a mini-docking station.

I have one of those mini-PCs with a dual boot Windows and Linux, along with a Raspberry Pi5 system that I tested this little dual-monitor adapter on. This is a budget-friendly solution for anyone who wants to have dual monitors, and so I can live with some of the high-end resolution limitations. My mini-PC has a USB-C video port on the front, and unlike many USB-C video ports, it only supports video and no other type of connection. I was a little worried if this would work on that port or not, and I was very pleased to find that I could plug this adapter in and bring my little PC to a 4-monitor system. On the mini, this adapter only works as a dual-monitor adapter, but please keep in mind that this port won't accept any other type of USB connection to begin with. On my RPi system, this little adapter is fully functional, and I can use all of the ports with ease. (I didn't test this adapter on my laptop, desktop, or Mac systems since I already have multiple monitors connected and didn't feel like climbing under any desks or taking off my add-on monitors connected to my laptop.) This adapter significantly enhances my productivity and overall experience with dual large monitors.
