I completely underestimated how useful this little device would be, but it has been a complete gamechanger. Being able to convert a charger for any Apple product to one for a USB-C has saved me a ton of stress when I'm out with friends. It also gives me a way to more directly share files to Mac products since I don't have to ability to Airdrop or send to their iCloud from my Android. I can easily drop this thing into a pocket of my purse when going out so I always have the added comfort of the ability to borrow a charger from anyone, I might buy a second to keep one at home and one for on-the-go use.

When I connected to my laptop I would hear a click and my laptop would shut off instantly. I tried these on multiple devices and nothing.

For some reason, I thought I was ordering a USB to USB-C adapter. I guess I wasn't paying close enough attention. This adapter let's you plug in your lighting cable and use with a USB-C plug in. Guess some people could use something like this. I am just not one of them.
