Was able to finally control all my devices in my cabinet without the need to stretch the arm and twist just right to get it to work. Now I can be lazy and watch TV in ease

Put my flat screen up on my shop wall on top of a steel I beam. The brackets from my roll around stand fit PERFECTLY into the groves of the metal building like it was made for it. One problem though, since my TV was elevated and was sitting flat against the wall, the 6-8 inch or so wide I beam was blocking the IR sensor. I left the feet off the TV on purpose as they were just enough too wide that the front of the foot was hanging just over the edge of the ibeam and of course it would eventually slide off and TV come crashing down. So I got this repeater and I attached the receiver to the ibeam with some of that sign putty. I secured the sender just in front of the IR receiver on the TV the same way. Working like a champ. Now moving the TV will be no problem. A good solution for my installation.

Depuis des mois je luttai avec ma télé car son capteur infrarouge est mal situé et trop directif. Depuis plus de soucis avec ce récepteur.

I used this to add to my Apple TV and works quite well. I now have the Apple TV stored behind the tv hidden.

I used velcro to attach so I could clean around it... easy to plug in... controls the Onkyo receiver hidden in the cabinet...

Tempo fa ho acquistato un tv e una soundbar di due notissime marche. Ovviamente la collocazione più adatta della sb era quella davanti alla tv, anche perché sotto non ci stava. E qui la sorpresa: la sb copriva il sensore della tv che, quindi, non poteva essere accesa e controllata con il telecomando. Ho alzato il televisore con due barre di legno sotto i quattro piedini, poi un amico, che aveva incontrato lo stesso problema (come penso tantissime persone), ha trovato questo sensore. L'ho acquistato: installazione in pochi attimi (serve solo avere in casa o acquistare in più una spina elettrica con entrata Usb, come quelle dei cellulari) e telecomando perfettamente funzionante da qualsiasi angolazione. Con buona pace dei progettisti di tv e soundbar i quali, probabilmente, hanno solo home theatre. E anche dei venditori che ben si sognano dal dirti che potrebbe verificarsi il problema che vi ho raccontato.

ich bin total begeistert von dem IR. technisch benötigt man kein fachwissen (habe mich aber bei anderen rezensionen schlau gemacht, wie es anzuwenden ist, denn auf ie mitgelieferte beschreibung wollte ich mich aufgrund der schlechten übersetzung nicht verlassen - hier wären piktogramme sicher sinnvoller). lt. amazon-anmerkung musste man innerhalb von 2 stunden bestellen, um die lieferung am nächsten tag zu erhalten - dies traf auch zu.das ist mein zweiter versuch mit einem IR, nachdem ich bei einem anderen hersteller (toogoo) vermutlich einen defekten IR geliefert bekommen habe . war etwas verunsichert, da gleich der erste IR, den ich bestellt habe und auf dessen lieferung ich einige wochen warten musste, nicht funktioniert hat.DIESER empfänger/sender ist aber TOP!großen empfänger habe ich an die rückwand des tv-gerätes geklebt (mit malerkrepp). der empfänger stört mich persönlich zwar nicht (rotes kleines licht, das manche kunden stört) - aber ich finde, es sieht besser aus, wenn nichts sichtbar ist. (geschmackssache).das kabel wäre aber auch lang genug gewesen, um es z.b. an die unter dem tv-gerät montierte und 10 cm entfernte soundbar zu kleben. das kabel vom großen empfänger ist auch länger als bei einem anderen hersteller (toogoo).kleinen empfänger an den receiver geklebt (empfangsknopf-bereich) und diesen in den kasten gestellt.IR reagiert wunderbar auf meine FB. von mir volle kaufempfehlung - und nicht verunsichern lassen, falls sie ebenfalls ein defektes teil erwischen, so wie ich. wagen sie einen zweiten versuch.
