About this item

  • This cable(EZSync014C) is mainly used to work with CNCs. Please consider EZSync014 if you want to have a DB25 port on your computer to connect legacy DB25 based equipment
  • Support both software and hardware handshaking. Works with many CNC controls: Fanuc, Mitsubishi, Siemens, Haas, Mazak, Mori, Brother, and many more
  • Industry standard chipset and device drivers to ensure maximum compatibility and superior reliability for industrial application
  • Replace your old DB9 to DB25 serial cable, connect CNC's DB25 port directly to your PC's USB port. Plug and play without driver installation. Works with all Windows and Mac OS versions.
  • Heavy duty metal DB25 connector with locking screws on one end, transparent plastic USB housing on the other end of the cable with LEDs indicating data traffic. The cable length is 1.5 meter (~5 feet).

Every EZSync cable is built to last for years with high-quality industrial grade materials. This cable enables CNC machine programming through USB port instead of legacy DB9 serial port. CNC controls are the big brain running behind any CNC machines. It works together with a series of motors and drive components to move and control the machine.

This cable works with the following controls with the broadest range of compatibility since it supports both software and hardware handshaking. US based technical support, please contact the seller if you have any questions.

Cable works for Win 7 and a MAZAK L32 control. I had to use XON/XOFF in place of hardware flow control. Test files transfered with no problems. Will now start using every day on the plant floor and see how it holds up.

Have been casting around buying null modem cables and nothing seemed to work. Several of the other cables were various flavors of null modem, but none that would work with a Fanuc-based Citizen B12. This cable worked straight away for me. I'm on a Windows 10 laptop and a 1998 Citizen B12 Swiss. Using CNC Wizard as the Windows CAD/CAM app that communicates. Thanks!

On one of the Fanuc Lathes here in the shop the memory card slot failed.. it was either going to cost 4000.00 to get that fixed or manually type in every program.. This cable has saved the shop the cost of getting the memory card fixed and works great. I could not be more pleased with it.. I use both my laptop with it and I can also use an android tablet with it.. It's awesome.

I have a 1985 vintage Matsuura vertical CNC mill with a Yasnac controller and wanted to use this cable to simplify the mess of adaptors we have been using. As it came, flow control didn't work. I opened it up and found out why. This 014C cable is supposed to support hardware handshaking, but the cable I got doesn't have the handshaking pins wired. This seems to be their EasyLink014 cable, mislabeled as a 014C cable. It looks like they have a quality control problem. I can probably fix this by re-soldering RTS and CTS (pins 4 and 5), but I'm waiting for a response from their support department to see how they want to handle this before I modify it. It seems like this company has many hard-to-find specialty cables, and it seems well made, except for someone in their manufacturing process mixing up their 014 and 014C cables. I'll update this review as the story continues.[update a few days later] They did advise that connecting the brown and green wires to pins 4 and 5 would fix the issue, but they were not sure what order was correct. So I figured it out and rewired the connector, messed it up with too much heat trying to get the solder bridge cleaned off, then cut it off, and wired a new connector (I had spares). The third picture above is how I wired it and it's working fine now with the required RTS/CTS flow control working. This is not a solution for most people. Soldering these small connectors is not easy. Hopefully, if you order this product, you will get one correctly wired. So I'm happy that I have the working cable I was trying to find, but unhappy I had to fix it to make it work as advertised.

Works exactly as described. Using it with a new kitamura horizontal cnc connected to a python program. Saved the day! The only downside is the thread of the screws to hold the plug in aren't the best, but they still work.

Like it. use it everyday. could use better strain relief, soldering, IP, etc. basically. if this on par with an amphenol or bendix product, a business like mine would pay the money for it.

This was supposed to be a link between a mac USB connector to a serial connector on an HP plotter that had been connected to an older mac serial. Unknown to me it required a software download. When I tried that the download was incompatible with my OS. I don't usually leave bad feedback but there was clearly an inadequate description of the product capabilities.
