Virtual COM Port (VCP) drivers cause the USB device to appear as an additional COM port available to the PC. Application software can access the USB device in the same way as it would access a standard COM port. Please also refer to the Installation Guides documents for details on how to install the drivers.

This lil guy gets 5 stars for working better than the original from Xiegu. I like Xiegu, but that OEM cable is a little ratty out of the box and bricked my radio twice. This one did not. I like this one.
