This ROOTOMA multi-plug outlet is an amazing multi-function device. It has (a) surge protection, (2) three plug outlets, (c) a switch for each outlet, and (d) three USB charging ports. What a fantastic design! It was just what I needed, and I'm delighted that I found it on Amazon.

I needed a switching matrix for my Internet equipment, and this was a great addition. I can reset the whole cabinet with just a flip of a switch. It is compact and has a lighted switch that I can easily find in the dark. I would definitely buy this again!

I wanted my wife to be able to turn off the power to individual counter top kitchen appliances. This was just what I wanted. The surge protector is a bonus.

It is great to have individual controls for the AC outlets. These light up when on, so this may not be good for bedrooms or places where lights might bother anyone. I use it in my kitchen, so appreciate the lights on the controls. The 2 USB ports and the 1 USB-C ports are convenient. However, if you wish to charge additional devices using the 3 AC outlets, note that a USB charger and a type-C will not fit side by side. I put one on the right and the other on the left, and use a regular plug (such as for a lamp or speaker) in the middle. When I unplug from the ports and the outlets, it pretty much stays in the wall if you use a finger to brace against it while you unplug. In terms of appearance, I would prefer a plain white cover, without Rootoma written across the item.

Actually bought this because the on/off mechanic on something basically broke and was sooo hard to reach. Instead of fixing that (not sure how realistic that would have been), torturing ourselves with reaching the on/off, or throwing it out, we left it "on" and plugged it into this, which has its own on/off switch. So convenient and I'm so glad we found this alternative.

We bought this for our kitchen because we have several appliances that we want to keep plugged in but that use electricity even when not in use. This product allows us to "shut off" an item completely when it is not in use without having to unplug it. However, this item also has an LED light to indicate which items are on, so therefore our "savings" are minimized. The item does have two USB Type A outlets and one USB Type C outlet, which is practical. In addition, at least the USB Type C is a "Fast charging" outlet (when coupled with a fast charging cord), which should be automatic anymore, but isn't always.One downside is that it does not attach to the wall outlet very well, so sometimes when we unplug a device the entire device falls off. I wish it was a little more stable, but that is not necessarily a product quality flaw as it is a situational problem.Overall work well for us and what we need it to do.

Loved the three switched outlets! Overall performance is decent. If it utilized both prongs in a power receptive it would be a bit more stable. Worth buying!
