Wasn't sure what kind of shape this belt would be in seeing that it is sold as a used pre-issued US GI Alice belt, but the one I received looks brand new! This is one beautiful beefy equipment belt that will last the rest of my life. It is nearly as substantial as my old Sam Browne leather duty belt.I mainly wanted it because I have a few knives that use the Alice clips on their sheaths and I wanted a way to carry them. I got the large belt and I am a 38 inch waist. After I adjusted it to fit me there's at least another 5 in of adjustment on both sides. That means even if you got a big pot belly you should be able to adjust this to fit.So this being my first Alice belt I thought the keepers shown in the picture were to attach it to your pants belt, but no, they are used to keep the inside material snug and attached to the outside. I find that it rides perfectly right above my pants belt which helps support it also. You could pick up some keepers though if you wanted to wear it over your pants belt. Couldn't be happier with this Alice belt!

I’ve needed another pistol belt for my sons hunting rig for awhile but usually they are more than I’d like to pay. Ammo man has a great price, it’s in better condition than listed, and it arrived a full week earlier than estimated. I’m very happy with it.

It will fit probably 28" to my slightly bigger 40" waist. Holes line up perfectly to fit the hooks on my 1911 holster or any other item that supposed to fit. I did wash it being used, and sure it's worn but should still have a full life available. Yes it is an actually US Military equipment belt. A good deal at a low price.

Looks like some Amazon customers are receiving Chinese made (Rothco) pistol belts or some are ordering these (Rothco) pistol belts and being confused with the terms of Military (type, style, like) and then stating in reviews that what they receive are not real USGI/MILITARY Issued pistol belts. Come on people do your research before you buy.In my case here's what I received. New Unissued. Absolutely Genuine. Two Digit Date Stamp on NSN Tag. There's no getting around it, military pistol belts are cool and they last forever. The problem with belts from the Vietnam era and earlier is the clasps are unreliable and have a tendency to disengage at embarrassing moments, say when you're on your belly and slithering toward an enemy encampment in the dead of night. I tell you there's nothing more embarrassing than shouting "hands up" as your pants fall down. So modern technology has produced a cool pistol belt made of a tough manly fabric that should last forever and has paired it with a simple non-corroding snap closure that doesn't disengage unless you want it to. I don't know if the plastic closure will last as long as the rest of the belt, but it gets the job done.

Ad title says USGI and under manufacturer says USGI. !!!NOT!!! These are made in China. The webbing is flimsy and only 1/2 the thickness of real USGI pistol belts. The hardware is cheaply made, loosely fitting and rattles while walking. The webbing holding one of the belt keeper snaps tore out first time I unsnapped it. They state size large, but a REAL USGI Pistol belt in Large fits up to 50" waist, these only go to about 35", if you extend their adjustments to the maximum limits. All in all I'm very unsatisfied with this deal. Amazon should police this sort of MISLEADING ADVERTISING more carefully. Do yourself a favor and either spend the extra for a GENUINE USGI pistol belt, or get good used ones for less than these pieces of Chinese junk.

Please don't get offended with the title it's a joke. I'm in college and I have no kids. Anyway, this belt is a good sturdy belt. Some people might get mad and say, "this isn't milspec," I can't repel with it and it doesn't hold all my utilities." Well Batman you're right. BUT this belt works fine if you want to wear it paintballing or camping, or other things you want to do. If you're a hardcore adventurer, then maybe save up and buy a belt that works better for you. If you're a weekend warrior this is fine. I've had it a few months and have had no problems. Good weekend warrior belt.
