This fiddle block kit allows the user to pre-tension lines, create lift, or simply remove slack from systems. Fiddle blocks provide a very compact, in-line system. It creates an incredible 5:1 mechanical advantage. This means that with only 200 lbs input into a system 1,000 lbs can be pulled or lifted. Between pulls, a built-in cleat holds position on the line, which can be released with a snap of the wrist.

Works well. Nice if 2 steel carabiners were included for each side even with additional price but great product. Rope was put through with a cross over such that they rubbed the first time I attempted to set up
