On par with premium brands such as Vortex. No lapping required. Fit and finish are exemplary. Major benefit is that they are detachable and that they return to zero. Convenient if you have to send your rifle in for service or are worried about air transportation. I highly recommend. Incidentally medium is 1.18 inches saddle height. Allowing up to a 56mm objective lens and get it closer to the barrel, whereas, Vortex is a 1.26 saddle height for medium.
