No issues with the product but it took too long to get.

This is a two flute not a four flute as in the description. It is an inexpensive carbide bit designed to use in an SDS Rotary Hammer drill but can be used in a standard half inch chuck hammer drill. It probably doesn't work well in a non hammer drill. The cutting edge looks like it was designed to withstand hammering in. I suggest only using it as designed.

I got this in the 12mm diameter, which is nearly half an inch. That is pretty wide – barely fit my electric drill chuck, so you do need to check that before you order. As well, the drill end has channels in it, presumably for the “SDS impact drill” they reference. That made it a little difficult to tighten down in the standard chuck I have, but I was able to do it.I used this to help repair a crack that had formed in the 6-inch thick foundation cement pad under my house. Every 6 or 7 inches along that crack, I wanted to drill a half-inch wide hole so used this bit. It cut through the concrete and stayed sharp as I drilled the 10 holes I needed.Into these holes, I used a double barrel mixing gun to inject special 2-part epoxy glue, made to hold concrete. When I figured the hole was about half full, I pushed in stainless steel anchoring bolts, injecting more glue around them, and pushed them down until the heads were below surface level, then covered the tops with more glue and let all that harden up.This bit let me get the job done.

Bought this for drilling a 12mm (1/2”) hole into a brick wall with my hammer/drill. I like the length and strength of this drill bit. Drills through brick like butter. Comes in a handy re-usable plastic storage tube. Great bit and a great value.

There was nothing to like about this carbide masonry bit. I bought to put 8 - 12mm holes in brick for a railing. I barely got through one brick before the bit was useless. I had to drop what I was attempting to do, go to Home Depot and buy a Milwaukee carbide masonry bit. That bit went into the brick like butter. I drilled out the other 7 holes and the bit is still sharp. Don’t waste your money on this cheaply made bit.

This bit does not drill through concrete very effectively. I had to use other carbide bits of different sizes to get very close to this size so I could get through. Probably worth investing more in a better bit
