Great filters for an amazing video camera.

First, it’s great that you can turn your camera off, with the gimbal able to dock itself correctly with these filters installed. This isn’t the case for some of the filters made for this camera. The magnet on these filters do not go around the entire perimeter, but are only on the left and right sides. This is plenty to keep them securely fastened to your camera. Also, what I really like about these is that the top and bottom of the filter frame has small indents. This really helps removing them as you can easily put a fingernail in them to grasp them to pull off. Still, given the size of these, it’s hard to not touch the lens. So you’re going to have to have a cleaning cloth handy at all times. The case keeps these organized and holds them securely. It would have been nice if the case had a place to store a cleaning cloth.Given these are circular filters, you get a lot of range in each filter. It’s more to fiddle with, but keeps you from having to remove filters of different strength to try to get the right one. Given that removing the filters from this camera is a little fiddly in itself, I like the circular ones. Having the UV filter and CPL filters are great additions to this set as well. Since you can turn the camera off with these on, keeping the UV filter on most of the time is a great way to add additional protection to your lens. The polarizing filter is nice to have and the UV filter is a great protective filter, however, I'd really think about whether or not ND filters are needed for you, especially if you're more of the point and shoot type. I find that in most cases the camera will compensate its exposure so that you're getting close to the same lighting with or without the filters. However, if you're trying to shoot in 24fps, or doing more manual mode stuff, then these should definitely come in handy. If you're looking at the set with the Black Mist filter and non-variable ND filters, here's my additional comments on those. I do like the Black Mist filter. I could not find the strength of the filter noted anywhere. They should include this somewhere. Still, not knowing what the strength is, I do find that it gives a nice balance. I do not think it’s very strong, but I do like the amount of smoothness and blur it adds to lights. It’s right for me. The main problem I have with the ND filters is that it’s really hard to see the writing on the edge of the filter to know which one you’re picking. I guess that’s a con of having the thinner filters that allow the camera to turn off with them still on.

I didn't get the set, only got the black mist filter. And it is great, it does what it is supposed to: gives a glowy/misty aura to the light sources. This filter is best used indoors, with artificial lighting IMO. If you use it outdoors or by natural light sources (windows, etc) that the lighting can look really blown out/too misty. I am also very pleased that this filter allows for the Pocket 3 to close without any issues.

These snap on perfectly to my Osmo Pocket 3. You will only really need filters like these if you are planning to shoot in manual mode, so if you don't know (or aren't willing to learn) how to do that, you probably won't need these.FEATURES:➼ Comes with magnetic case and lens cloth (lenses also magnetically snap into the case, case is slightly too large to fit into Creator kit bag, but it can zip close if you take out the pocket 3 and protective case!)➼ Labels inscribed on side (very tiny though, so if you have poor vision it might be hard to see)➼ Very thin (able to close pocket 3 with one -- just one -- on and won't affect gimble calibration)➼ Stackable (to some degree -- not stackable with the wide-angle lens provided in Creator kit, and stacking the CPL and ND filters tend to darken things significantly. It's best to combine a "fun filter" like the blackmist, star, or streak lenses and then add a "practical filter" like an ND or CPL)➼ Strong, stable magnets (make sure they "click" into the grooves on the pocket 3 lens)➼ Variable feature means less filters to carry!SIMPLIFIED DESCRIPTION OF FILTERS IN KIT ("practical filters"):➼ ND/VND (Neutral Density/Variable Neutral Density): like sunglasses for your camera, great for overexposed (too bright) shots when shooting with the 180° shutter rule; variable just means you are able to adjust it so you don't need to bring several separate filters➼ CPL (Circular Polarizer): softens reflections/glare and pops color a bit➼ UV: protects UV rays from damaging lens over time, can sometimes also offer protection against dust, rain, and other small particles (has/should have no affect on capturing but may sometimes help slightly reduce the blue cast in very sunny conditions)OTHER FILTERS AVAILABLE ("fun filters" -- mostly from other sellers):➼ Blackmist/Black diffusion: creates a dreamy, soft, slightly whitewashed effect (this brand sells this one in a single lens if needed! It fits perfectly in the provided case -- see pictures)➼ Bluestreak/Goldstreak: will create a blue or yellow colored streak at light sources and reflections➼ Star: will create small stars (usually 4-pointed) at light sources and reflections➼ Night/LPR (Light Pollution Reduction): reduces light flaring/streaking for more clarity in the darkThese are best for people with small fingers since they are so thin -- I do and I still struggle sometimes and get my fingerprints on them despite my best efforts, especially when 2 or more filters are stacked. Compared to many of the other bands, these are the best value and quality (some other brands have weaker magnets, don't come with a good case, etc.) and I highly recommend these! :)

The best thing about this VND filter is that it reduces the number of filters you'll have to carry with you and having a CPL on you as well. It's the versatility that makes it a standout. But what makes this different from other VND filters for the Osmo Pocket 3? To be honest, not much. It doesn't offer that much more in terms of clarity or ease of use. You just snap it on like every other magnetic filter.Just get whichever is cheaper and doesn't cast a tint on your final image.

The magnets on these filter are opposite whats requires to correctly attach to the stock wide angle lens, which means you can not use your wide angle lens while using these filters. Effectively useless fitlers. They are also entirely too thin. they are a tremendous pain in the ass to get on and off. I would not recommend these filters.

I'm not a filter expert, but these filters are designed like no other I've seen. They're so thin, the gimbal can fully close when you turn the camera off. My only complaint is you need a pair of latex gloves to handle them, there's no edge that lets you pick it out of the case. I'm worried about fingerprints. I guess that's why the micro-cloth is included
