ケースに入れずに持ち歩くならこの手のカバーは必要でしょう。フィルタとしての効果はあまり感じませんが、保護目的は達しています。電源ONで出てくるレンズ部分の直径とぴったりなので、その辺を計算して貼る位置を考えましょう。

GRiii/iiixを3台所有しており、どれも新品購入後すぐにつけています。これのおかげでホコリ侵入問題は皆無。お値段はしますが唯一無二なのでいつまでもなくならないでほしい。（一度だけ類似品をもう少し安く購入したことがありますが、こちらに戻りました）何も不満はありません。とてもいい商品！

レンズ保護のために、アルミキャップと合わせて購入しました。作りも高級感があり今のところ満足しています。接着剤が強力で剥がすと本体にダメージがあるというレビューが多いですが、一応対応なのがテグスと2つのリングが入っており剥がす場合はこのテグスを使ってねというガイドが入っていました。ただ、本体にダメージがあるほど強力な接着剤が使われているなら、事前にもっとわかりやすく警告を書いて欲しかったです。また、問題を把握しているならばテグスを入れるのでなく適切な接着剤に変更してほしいものです。

レンズの中にゴミが入らなくなり、また取れやすいかと少し心配していましたがそんな心配も不要で大変使いやすいです！真っ先に買えばよかったです。ありがとうございます。

以前GRIIIを持っており、買い戻したGRIIIxに装着しました。GRIIIのレンズ表面のカバーは傷がつきやすく、見た目が気になっていたので今回はカバーをつけてみました。装着は両面テープで貼る方式で簡単です。数ヶ月付けていますが、取れる感じはないです。一応外す用の器具は付いていますが、一回つけたら外さないと思います。ロゴが目立ちますが、金属製で製品のクオリティは高くGRとも合います。厚みも1mm程度増えるぐらいで通常使用には違和感ないです。UVカット効果は不明ですが、特に写真への悪影響は当方はないと思っています。私はレンズカバーの劣化防止に買い、装着しましたが、その役割はちゃんとできる製品です。また、ホコリ等も物理的に入らないので良いと思います。いい買い物でした。

UPDATE: This filter now comes with a remover. It's in a separate package in the box. DO NOT THROW IT AWAY! However if you did, simply get some flossing string and you can basically cut the adhesive with it.This is an adhesive filter. These are the things to note:1) make sure its aligned right and there is no dust under the filter or on the lens before applying. You can get yourself some wiggle room to light it up right without immediately committing my rubbing some of your saliva or peril on the adhesive before you stick it on. that will all you to get everything done right. After you just let it Sit for a hour and your done2) DO NOT REMOVE THIS FILTER WITH HEATING IT! If you remove the filter by force you WILL destroy the cameras metal frame ring. If you need to remove the filter you need to apply some heat to the filter 1st to loosen the adhesive. The best way to do this is with a heating plate. YOU DO NOT NEED ALOT OF HEAT. you just need enough to warm the filter ring. a blow dryer on low should do the job as well. when the ring it warm SLOWLY pry up the filter.

Don’t try to remove this. I broke the camera lens trying to get this off. It needs to come with a warning that it is impossible to remove without ruining you camera

Be very very careful. It comes with a lens cleaner. I accidentally put it on and forgot to wipe the dusty lenses.It’s impossible to take it off!!!!! 😱

This JJC UV Filter for the Ricoh GR/GR2 does work as advertised. It provides a set-it and forget-it UV filter and protection solution for the GR that should help reduce the amount of dust introduced onto the sensor. But I learned the hard way that once it is on, it should stay on the GR and not be removed.The strong 3M adhesive sticks to the front of the lens, attaching to the metal lens surround, where it says "GR Lens f=18.3mm". If you ever need to remove it, it is extremely difficult to remove without pulling the metal surround away from the camera body. The circular metal plate is extremely thin and pliable, and quickly bends out of shape, making it a rather lengthy process to remove entirely, then flatten and re-glue to the camera. And it never quite looks the same afterward - my camera looks a bit upset after the ordeal.The GR's wide angle attachment lens cannot be used in conjunction with the JJC UV filter. As the lens extends, the filter will contact the rear of the wide angle lens, giving you a lens error, and the camera will retract and shut off. So if you ever intend to use the wide angle, the JJC filter is a no-go for the GR and GR2.I would recommend this product only if the user never intends to remove it from their camera.

Excellent build quality, no reflections and strong sticking. Keeps rain droplets and dust out (I had to send my GRIII for sensor cleaning once already). Highly recommended.
